EMS Readers highlights both fiction and nonfiction books while also incorporating the 5 key components of reading.
The National Reading Panel has identified the “5 pillars of reading” as essential skills readers need to learn to read, and these components are the basic requirements of any quality literacy program.
Studies have shown that visual communication is an effective teaching approach to generate better learning performance.
Introduce students to mathematics in the context of delightful stories. Students will be able to:
Cultivate 21st century competencies through critical thinking questions to construct understanding of the various dimensions of mathematics.
Students develop number sense, an understanding of how numbers work, rather than have them simply memorize rules and facts.
EMS Readers sparks students' natural curiosity, build understanding of scientific concepts and expand their opportunities to understand the things around them.
Help students grasp and understand science concepts while building an inquiring mind in the pursuit of knowledge, encouraging the ability to apply practical skills in their daily lives.
At Kindergarten level, students will be able to build vocabulary knowledge and understand concepts learned.
At Grade 1 level, students will be able to build sentences, develop fluency and be able to communicate while also understanding the concepts introduced and develop problem solving skills.
At Grade 2 level, students will be able to communicate confidently, develop analytical skills and articulate the concepts introduced with deeper comprehension.
